These are my picks for the stand out brands of the year. These are all young companies that are taking the industry by storm.
*Update Electric Zombie has won the poll for the best young brand of ‘08. We saw a lot of good stuff this following year but I have to agree that EZ was one of the stand outs for sure. I hope the next year is just as good or better for all of you!

I added 410BC but I purposely left out a ton because I do not consider them “Young” brands. I love JC but hes been around for ages.

these are just emptees brands.. you should broaden your horizons. check out different types of brands. for example: beta unit, your eyes lie, blacktooth, das monk, creep street, 410 bc, the award tour, the list goes on

Thanks for the input. To be honest I mainly chose emptees brands for my readers. Im all about other brands, I even know some of the guys from the companies your mentioned.

I cant believe that Never In Wonderland is not on here! they are newer than a majority of these brands…but i appreciate the post a lot, Im always looking for new threads to wear:) good to get the word out there! very nice post…

it should be EZ, 410 and then Linty Fresh. no offense to word but they are no where near those guys. just look at their site, designs and photos. they dont have a real website only a big cartel, their photos are terrible and they only have a few designs.

410bc has been around a little longer but I had so many request to add them I just did at the last minute. I think they are right on the verge of new and well established.

I think Homeroom clothing and The Elegant Scoundrel deserved to be mentioned in addition to the ones you already have, but a great list non the less!

hey can some one post some sites where i can find a list of alternative clothing brands like the above mentioned. as iam new to these t shirts brands. but i think there amazing!
can anyone name some brands that are really colourful and wouldnt be un-seen at a nice warehouse party or someting like that!
